About The Persisterhood Workshop
Our Mission
The Persisterhood Workshop (TPW) began in March 2017 with a small group of volunteers galvanized to actively support social justice through craftivism.
Our collective brings people together through workshops that offer opportunities to teach and learn the art of crafting. We then sell our work to raise money for local nonprofits that advance social, political, and economic equality for all. Together, we work to smash the patriarchy one handmade piece at a time!
We are especially grateful to the organizers of the Bloomington Handmade Market (BHM). As BHM’s Philanthropic Maker, TPW has access to market venues essential to our success. Additionally, we offer heartfelt thanks to Mirth Market for hosting pop-up fundraisers for us.
Contact us if you are interested in sharing your creative skills, you‘d like to be part of a workshop, or want help in other ways.
